Walk along the coast to Ballen harbour for breakfast, fish, ice cream and dinner. Summer is lively; outside high season the pace slows while the view remains.

Arrival

The ferry arrives close to the house

SAMSØLINJEN sails directly from Kalundborg to Ballen. Klintevej 10 is within walking distance of the terminal — an unusually easy island escape without a car.

A holiday that can begin without a car

Travel as a foot passenger from Kalundborg and roll your luggage the short distance from the Ballen terminal to the house. Once settled, swimming, the harbour, groceries and several places to eat are close enough for unhurried days. Bicycles open up the rest of Samsø while the car can stay parked.

The house suits families or friends who want time together without scheduling every hour. Some guests can head to the water or sauna while the day follows its own pace. The eight stated sleeping places are divided between two bedrooms in the main house and the small annex.
